|This Japanese Flowering Cherry Tree was planted by Eric Kitchener who is a member of Sidmouth Meeting. Eric planted the tree around 1968/69 for a friend whose son had died in a motorcycle accident. The tree stands in the Churchyard of St. Mary and St. Peter, Salcombe Regis. Each spring the tree blossoms with an amazing scent.|
